When working with a new customer, we lay down “invisible paths” for Dax to patrol. These can be biased toward areas where break-ins often occur or customers want extra security. Dax employs a randomized patrol pattern so trespassers can’t guess where he’s headed next. When Dax spots an intruder, he approaches and warns the intruder that they are on private property and need to leave. Most intruders leave at this point, but Dax also alerts one of our security partners, who arrives within 15 minutes or less. Security escorts away anyone who doesn’t belong there and checks the premises to ensure they’re secure.

Dax uses randomized patrol, lights, video feed, and security backup to deter crime, so he’s welcomed by most humans who don’t have anything to hide. Dax adds to the safety of your premises without frightening customers or employees.
For areas where authorized personnel frequent, we work with customers to identify who is allowed and who is not. Dax robots can also patrol for suspicious activity, rather than for intruders, in areas open to the public.
